Instructions
Once you have purchased all of your supplies, it’s time to build your fairy garden!
If you have various sizes of pots, start with the largest one you have. Fill it up with soil. We used an entire bag of top soil, and then filled the rest of the pot with compost. Get the next size of pot and figure out where you want to place it on the larger pot. Once you have a spot picked, fill that pot with compost. Repeat with any remaining pots.
Now it’s time to plant. Once they are all in the perfect place, you will fill the rest of the space with the decorations. Tip: If you have a fairy house, find a spot for that first since it’s going to be on the larger side. The rest of the decorations can be placed after the plants.
When planting, make sure to dig a big enough hole in the dirt to cover all the roots. Gently remove the plant from the container and slightly loosen the dirt around the roots. Then place it in the hole you dug, smooth the dirt around the top and make sure everything is tucked in nice and neat.
When you’re happy with how everything is set up, make sure to give your garden a good watering. This will help the soil settle and reduce the chance of transplant shock on the plants. Follow the instructions on your plant label to know how frequently to water them!
Now it’s time to step back and admire your beautiful Flower Pot Fairy Garden!
