With the start of the new year almost upon us, I decided it was time for a change that better fit everything going on in my life lately. With getting married this past July, becoming a 3rd grade teacher and getting into the groove of living life as a wife and well… adult, I feel like so much has changed since I first started my blog. When I began this blog, I was a junior in college, and at that time in my life, Peaches and Prayers was fitting for what I wanted to write. I was figuring out life, dating an incredible guy, beginning my healthy living journey and passionate about what I was doing.
Now, with Happily the Hicks, I am STILL figuring out life (I don’t think that’s ever going to stop), but now I’m married to my incredible husband, working hard to keep up that healthy lifestyle and loving every minute of it. With this blog change, I plan on writing more about this new stage in life, as well as continue to use it to share what God is teaching me, the yummy recipes I make and other bits and pieces going on in mine and Isaac’s life. You may even get to hear from Isaac from time to time! (Well, when the inspiration comes upon him… :) )
