Trace out the shapes you need to make the fairy house, flowers and scenery. Using paper means you can get the size and shape right before cutting into your felt!

To make the house I drew out a rectangle and gave the top a slight curve. Then I cut out a BUNCH of leaves in different sizes and colors for the roof. I started by tracing them then cutting, but eventually just free hand cut them from the felt because there were so many.

The big flowers were made by cutting petals and gluing them together in a circle. For the middle I cut out a rough star shape, glued it on and added a rhinestone in the center. The lavendar was made by simply cutting out different sized circles and gluing to a stem.

The pond and grass were super simple, and the stones were made by cutting big ovals. The lily pads with a triangle cut out. And the little flowers were a long scalloped rectangle rolled up and glued down with a bead in the middle.

As for the peg people, most of them were made with this Etsy pattern. The rest were just free handed with felt scraps.

Once all your shapes are cut out, it’s time to assemble! I glued everything together before gluing it to the wooden box. It made it so much easier, especially when working with the top lid.
