HEY THERE!
I can’t believe we’re almost a week into July. This past weekend was a blur, but I had so much fun with my family and friends. We ate lots of burgers and sweets, went to a fireworks show, played in the lake and hung out at the pool. It was an incredible weekend and I am so happy to have such wonderful people in my life.
Here are some snapshots of the weekend from my Instagram feed! Make sure you’re following to stay up to date on everything going on over here.

I’m sure I’m not the only one feeling all those treats still lingering. Enjoying the delicious food these past few days was fun, but it’s time to get back in the swing of things. I’ve been slacking off on my workouts and eating right lately… I’m ready to feel like myself again.
Every week I like to set little goals for myself, focusing on anything from getting lesson plans written, working on paintings for my Etsy shop, growing my blog or simply taking care of myself. This week I decided to set three attainable goals that focused on getting back on track, and I’m sharing them with you to keep me accountable:
I’ll let y’all know next Wednesday how they went!
If you’re wanting to get back on track after a long weekend, then I hope this helps encourage you! Setting goals really helps me stay strong and focused on what I hope to accomplish. If you could set three goals for this week, what would they be?
If you’re looking for some motivation to work out, I’m excited to share some of my favorite workout videos with y’all. I’ve talked about Tone it Up before, but I don’t think I can tell you enough about how much they have changed my perspective on healthy eating and working out. Before purchasing the TIU Nutrition Plan I had a very misconstrued concept of what it meant to eat clean foods and live a healthy lifestyle. And before discovering their workout videos, I would spend an hour at a gym every few days doing random Pinterest workouts and couldn’t understand why I never saw results. After stumbling upon their website, I was hooked! I love how bubbly Karena and Katrina are, and their videos are bright, fun and on the beach. What more could you ask for?
One of my favorite things about Tone it Up is that they post a weekly workout schedule every Sunday. They use a mixture of free videos and ones you can purchase on their website, and I love that they plan the week taking into consideration the different muscle groups, rest days and cardio. Most of their videos are 10-20 minutes long, which is perfect for fitting in a quick workout, or doing multiple for a longer one. Today I wanted to share some of my favorite videos of theirs with you! Let me know if you try them and what you think.
Happy sweating y’all!

Those are all very good goals. I have a routine and know that it’s really hard to get back to it whenever I’m off of it for a while… Lovely pictures and lovely post! Thanks for sharing :-)
Oh it is the toughest thing to get back into! It’s just way to easy to sit on the couch all day… Thanks for stopping by Flavia!
I love the goals you have for the month! I’m trying to do cardio (typically 3 miles) 2-3 times a week. And I love the videos you posted as well.
That’s awesome! I try to run 3-4 miles every few days with my husband. It’s tough during the summer though, because it’s way too hot in the afternoons. 4:15 AM is no fun when all you want to do is stay in bed haha!
I have been interested in Tone it Up for a while, but not interested enough to try it. I am glad to hear how reasonable their workouts are. Now I am definitely going to have to try them out.
You should, Leelee!! I love their workouts. They make it fun, and don’t yell at you, which is one of the reasons I’m not a fan of the typical workout videos.
YES! I’m LOVING the Tone It Up workouts right now! Plus, the community totally feeds into my love of strong supportive communities as that’s one of the things I miss most about CrossFit!
I agree!! The TIU community is one of my favorite things about the entire program. Which workout is your favorite?
Thanks for sharing these workouts! I look forward to checking them out :) I have been away for a few days so can totally relate to wanting to get back into healthy eating and gyming it (back to the gym last night, wasn’t actually as bad as I thought it would be!)
I hope you liked them! I’ve found that the best way to start is to just get up and do it, no matter what. It takes discipline, but it’s so worth it in the end!
Oh I am so trying that yoga flow! Thanks for sharing!
Yes!! That’s my favorite yoga video I’ve done. So relaxing and great stretches!
I’ve never tried Tone It Up before. They look like some great workouts. I always like to switch up my workouts, so I’ll have to check it out more. Looks like you had a great 4th!
I hope you enjoyed them if you tried them out! I had such a fun 4th of July, thank you! :)
Thanks for sharing. At my age I think I will hurt myself with some of these. But they are worth a try.
What’s neat about these videos is that there are also modifications you can do to make them fit whatever fitness level you’re at!
Working out every day is on my to-do list too! Thansk for these great video ideas!
That’s an awesome goal, Susannah! I hope you like the videos.
Totally checking out the Tone It Up workouts :) Thanks so much for sharing this!
xoxo, Jenny
Yes, you should!! I know you’ll love them. :)
