HEY THERE!
Spring is in full bloom over here in Texas! Bluebonnets are lining the highways, strawberries are ripe and the trees are turning green again. Spring has always been my favorite season of the year. I love the breath of fresh air it brings after winter. I love the cool mornings and warm afternoons. I love all the fun activities we get to do outside. And I love that it means summer is just around the corner!

To celebrate and enjoy my favorite season of the year, the kids and I have put together a new set of activity boxes for you! These Spring Activity Boxes are my favorites so far. The kids have been playing with them almost nonstop for the past month, and I love that I was able to reuse some items from previous boxes. They are also a great way to encourage screen free, independent play in your children!
Most of the items in the Spring Activity Boxes are from Hobby Lobby. The rest of the items I was able to find on Amazon – as always, everything is linked below!

I have always wanted to build a fairy garden, and since we don’t have a good spot in our backyard right now, I made it into an activity box! This is definitely the big girls’ favorite box. They have so much fun setting out all the flowers and little animals, and June was especially excited about the fairy house. It’s too big to fit in the box, but we just HAD to include it when we saw it!

Mushrooms

*Items also from the Fall Activity Boxes!

I mean, is it spring/summer without some yummy lemonade? This box has been Frances’s favorite! She loves playing with pom poms, and has had a blast making everyone lemonade. It’s perfect for her age, and even the bigger kids enjoy joining in on the lemonade fun.

This box was put together by James. The minute he saw the barn, truck and hen house, he said “we should make a farm box!” And it’s been the only one he has played with so far. He loves organizing the farm, making different configurations with the hay bales and “mud” (crinkle paper), and driving the truck around.

This is a super simple box, but holds a lot of potential for different activities! Check out the activity card for some fun ideas to do with your kiddos.

Optional: green crinkle cut paper for grass!

I hope you find some inspiration from these fun activity boxes! I can’t wait to see if you make some for your kiddos as well.
