HEY THERE!
As mentioned before, I’ve been using the Perfect Fit protein powder made by Tone it Up in a lot of my recipes lately. What I really like about it is the powder doesn’t have an overpowering flavor that takes over the smoothie, but rather one that compliments it. I like to be able to taste the fruit and yogurt in my smoothies, and not just the protein! The texture is a bit different from other powders I’ve used, but that little detail really doesn’t bother me.
I’m really bad about not following recipes when it comes to smoothies… I tend to just look at whatever fruit I have in my fridge and decide which would go best together, throw ’em in a blender with some yogurt, almond milk and a frozen banana, and then BAM. A smoothie. Now I’ve added a scoop of Perfect Fit Vanilla Protein Powder to the mix and it really takes them up a notch! It makes my smoothies creamier, helps fill me up (since it’s high in fiber and protein) and gives them a flavor that I’ve enjoyed. I haven’t tried the chocolate flavored powder they also sell, but maybe once I finish off this bag I’ll try that one! I tend to default to the vanilla flavor, since it pairs well with basically any fruit combo and recipe, whereas the chocolate’s use is more limited in my mind. I’m sorry, but a peach and orange smoothie with chocolate powder just doesn’t really sound appealing to me!
Below I’ve shared two of my favorite smoothies so far! I partially love them because of their pretty colors, but also because the flavors were de-li-cious. It’s become a sort of Sunday morning ritual to run my #FriskyFall 5K in the morning then make a smoothie before going to church. I like to sip on them as I fix my hair and get ready!

Blend everything but the protein together in a blender until smooth. Add the protein and pulse until it is fully incorporated. Serve up fresh, or save in a closed container for up to three days!
