HEY THERE!
I still can’t believe that we’re officially in “Christmastime”. While yes, I have all my decorations up (that post is coming on Friday!) and Christmas music playing constantly in my classroom (shoutout to the Piano Guys and my man Kenny G ;) ) I feel like this year has gone flying by. Anyone else with me??
I also feel like I’m still recovering from Thanksgiving week over here. Between the TWELVE photoshoots I did, Black Friday shopping with my mom and sisters, multiple Thanksgiving meals and our annual tree decorating tradition, it was a very busy week for me. So let’s just say I’ve been hitting that snooze button a few too many times the past few mornings. #ohwell Thankfully after this weekend’s rounds of mini sessions things will *sort of* calm down and I’ll have at least some time to catch up on life. It’s been crazy, but I’ve loved every second, and am SO excited that Christmas is officially here!
I don’t know about you, but my favorite part about this time of year is finding that perfect gift for the people on your list. I love being able to get something I know that person will L-O-V-E. The looks on their faces, and knowing they’re just as excited for their gift as I am to give it to them makes my day. When it comes to Christmas shopping, I do a mixture of different things to mark all the people off my list. I love online shopping (thank you Cyber Monday!), going to events like the Vintage Market Days, and hitting up my favorite shops in Etsy.
But sometimes making something rather than buying is the way to go. And that’s where today’s post comes in! If you have a coffee lover in your life, then you need to make this amazing latte in a jar. Not only is it super cute, but it’s also really easy to make and something they will LOVE. What more do you need? ;)
Materials:
Mason jar
2/3 cup Instant ground coffee
2/3 cup Powdered milk
1/3 cup Cocoa powder
1/4 cup Coconut sugar
1. Carefully layer the ingredients in a clean mason jar.
2. Attach the following instructions: Shake it up, then spoon it out for an easy latte on the go! Mix 4 Tbsp with 8 oz of hot water.
Now it’s your turn to talk! Answer one of these questions in the comments below:
Do you like making gifts for loved ones?
Have you ever tried your had at a latte in a jar?

omg! this is such a unique and great idea! love it!
I love this idea! And there are so many ways to customize it with colors, ribbons, and tags! Great gift!
This is an adorable idea! I’ve made cookie in a jar mixes before, but coffee is even more fun! Or you could give both. I’m thinking I need to try this out.
Such a cute idea. I know I would love it!! This would be perfect for my kids teachers!
What a great idea! I’ve never tried a latte in a jar, but last year I received a homemade hot chocolate in a jar, and it was amazing, probably the best hot chocolate I’ve ever had! I actually love getting homemade gifts, they feel so much more personal! This year my son is making homemade peppermint bark for his grandparents so this is our first year doing homemade gifts ourselves!
What a great idea for teachers!
This is a fun idea and something you can give on a budget.
