My best friend, ex-roommate and maid of honors took her GRE (and passed on the first try y’all!) and graduated from college recently. As a fun, affordable gift to encourage her and show her I was thinking of her, I put together a “basket full of sunshine”. I had a lot of fun going around Walmart and Dollar General, finding fun foods and trinkets that fit in with the yellow and orange color scheme. The goal was to give her a basket full of things she would love, foods she could eat while studying and stuff I knew she could use. And hey… it looked cute too!
This type of gift basket is perfect for anyone, whether they are sick, about to enter finals week or if you just want to encourage them. I personally love giving gifts, and this one is perfect because of the versatility it offers. And you can even go a step further and do baskets with other themes, like a basket full of chocolate (yes PLEASE!), a basket full of Christmas, a basket full of flowers, and the list can go on… I’ll share others as I make them!
