HEY THERE!
The closer we get to one year old, the more I hold on tight to my sweet baby girl. In the blink of an eye she’s gone from the snuggly newborn who slept on me every night to a silly, crawling and squishy little baby. Fran is the literal best. We are all smitten with her toothy grin, and the kids love that she’s interacting with them more and more. I love how she lights up when Isaac or I step into the room, and how she giggles and plays with Ellie when we’re in the van. This is such a fun age, and I just love seeing the sweet, goofy (and slightly dramatic) little girl she’s becoming.
October was a crazy month for us. My photoshoots started ramping up, and we went on lots of fun family outings. Looking back, it seems like the month lasted forever, but it also flew by… time is so strange! But goodness, this month was full of memories that I’ll cherish forever. I just love my family and the joy they bring to life.
There haven’t been many changes physically for Fran. She still has those two teefers, is crawling like crazy, pulling up and trying to climb things, and just taking the world as it comes. She’s playing more and more with the big kids, and I love hearing them intentionally include her when they’re together.
Fran is doing SO much better with eating, thank goodness! She went from gagging on everything to eating like a champ. Fran loves bananas, avocados and eggs the most.
Sleep-wise Frances is doing very well! We still have the occasional night where she may wake up a couple of times, but overall she’s sleeping pretty much through the night. I still nurse her once in the middle of the night, which I’ll take when it means the rest of the night I can sleep soundly!
We’ve been going on walks twice a week, and Fran is a big fan! She just kicks her legs, looks around and (if she woke up early that morning) takes a little nap. She’s so chill and easy going – I love that she can just go with the flow because we definitely need that with how busy our lives are!
We went on a few family adventures this month which were SO much fun. I truly love any time we get to spend together, whether it be hanging out at home, going to pumpkin patches, or grabbing lunch after James’s soccer game. This month we went to a pumpkin patch near Isaac’s work – it was so cute and the kids had a blast!
We also took family pictures this month, and I love them so so much. It was a perfect morning, and I am so happy with how all the outfits and flowers came together.
The kids and I ended the month of October with a trip to the Dallas Arboretum. We walked around looking at pumpkins, ate a picnic lunch, sweat our faces off and had the best time together.
And just like that another month has passed with our sweet Frances Anne. I love her more than words can describe, and am looking forward to another month of her squishy cheeks and cheesy grin.
