I keep telling myself “when I finish such and such I’ll write Fran’s update”… And now here we are three weeks later and I’m finally getting it done just before she turns 6 months old. Whoops.
This summer has been absolutely incredible and equally as busy. Between traveling, playdates, photoshoots, homeschooling and everything in between, I feel like it flew by. Frances has been SO much fun lately! As she’s gotten older and more aware of everything around her, we have all loved watching her personality develop. She is always happy, smiling, cooing and playing with her siblings. She LOVES it when Dada comes home from work, and is still the queen of snuggles.
I am in absolute denial that she’ll be half a year old NEXT WEEK. But goodness have the past 5 months been absolutely wonderful with her!
Frances Anne | Month 5 Update
Fran has figured out how to get on all fours, and I know crawling is just around the corner. She can roll pretty much everywhere, and I’m always shocked to see how far (and quickly) she can wiggle around the house. She has recently discovered her toes and tongue, which is the cutest thing ever, if you ask me!
She is getting very vocal, and I love hearing her coo and laugh throughout the day. Fran is very attentive, and this age has been so fun as she’s been able to interact and understand more and more. Especially when she gives me slobbery kisses on the cheek and smiles real big when she sees someone she loves.
This month we went to Colorado and had the BEST time. We hiked, fished, went on the Durango-Silverton train and made some precious memories with my family. Fran was a trooper throughout all the travel and messed up sleep schedule!
Even though it feels like we did a ton this month, besides our trip to Colorado, life was pretty chill. My mom and in-laws took the big kids for a week, so Fran and I had lots of one on one time. She was my assistant at many, many photoshoots (thank the Lord she’s such a chill baby!), and we celebrated June and Ellie’s birthdays!
This was truly a fun month of getting to know Frances, and loving her more and more every day.
