HEY THERE!
Wow what a month! This one absolutely flew by, and I can’t believe how much little Fran has changed the past few weeks. We had such a fun month, full of big events, lots of snuggles and a bunch of baby giggles that fill the house. I love seeing her happy little personality shine the older she gets, and how much her big siblings absolutely dote on her.
As I reflect on the past 4 months, I am so grateful for my little Frannie. I have been very intentional about soaking in every minute with her, because I know she’ll be grown in the blink of an eye. She’s taught me the beauty of slowing down, and I am so thankful for that. She really is such a gift to our family, and I love her more than words can describe. I feel like the Grinch over here (at the end of the movie, of course) with a heart 4 times its size with how much I love my kiddos!
Fran has learned so many new skills this month! She’s rolling over constantly (nothing is safe now – yikes!), kicking her legs, observing her hands, and “talking” all the time. She laughs when you look at her, always has a smile ready and loves it when her siblings play with her.
This month held lots of fun little moments with the kids. From butterflies to splash pad playdates to swimming with our besties, we made so many sweet memories! I love our friends, and I love getting to see so many people during the summer. My heart is SO full!
One of the highlights was actually catching up with a dear missionary couple we knew in Ecuador and Chile. They were our surrogate grandparents while we lived overseas, and it was so fun catching up and having them meet my kiddos. Uncle Jim and Aunt Evelyn will always hold a special place in my heart!
The biggest, most exciting moment this month was my sister’s wedding! It was a beautiful day, and everyone had so much fun. Fran, of course, looked absolutely adorable!
For Father’s Day we went on our yearly trip to the blueberry farm. Isaac loves blueberries, so it’s the perfect way to spend time with the family and celebrate our favorite guy. The kids (and Isaac) eat their weight in blueberries, and I love making yummy treats with the berries we bring home.
Fun fact! I was actually pregnant with Fran last year when we picked blueberries, but we hadn’t told anyone yet.
We also did a little family photoshoot with Tricia, and I am in LOVE with the pictures! There are so many good ones, y’all. I know I’m biased, but goodness my family is the cutest.
The month ended with Fran’s first 4th of July, and it was a blast! We hosted our annual party with a small group of friends, and it was full of yummy food, laughter and good times. I am so thankful for all the wonderful people the Lord has brought into our life!
The rest of the month was (once again) filled with sleepy snuggles, lots of sewing, milkies and playing with siblings. Frannie is fitting in perfectly with our family, and we love her SO much. Here’s to another month of adventures, gummy smiles and cheek squishes.
