Fall is the perfect time to get out and enjoy yourself! I hope my fall bucket list will get you excited and ready to make lots of memories this season.
When the seasons change, one of my favorite things to do is make a list of what I want to do that season. It gives me something to look forward to, and helps me make the most of the time I have. I always try to make spending time with Isaac, our families and our friends a priority. I can get so easily wrapped up in what I’m doing that can end up neglecting the people I love. But making something as simple as a list of things to do this fall helps me remember what’s important, and makes me excited to get out and enjoy myself. It also helps that fall is the absolute best, and I look for every opportunity to get out and have some fall fun!
So if you could add anything to this list, what would it be?
Fall Bucket List
Vist a pumpkin patch
This is a no brainer. Every once in a while I drive past a pumpkin patch, and I get SO excited every time. I just love the pumpkins, the pictures, the corn mazes and having fun with friends.
Carve a pumpkin
I’ve only done this a handful of times, and I have some friends who have been wanting to do this too, so score! I also like scooping out the seeds and roasting them for a tasty snack.
Go to the state fair I LOVE going to the Texas State Fair! The food, the people watching, and the fun with friends… It’s one of my favorite things about the fall. I look forward to going every year.
Make homemade apple cider
I’ve never done this before, but I think it would be so much fun! I love sipping on some apple cider when it gets cool outside… There’s nothing quite like a hot cup of cider on a crisp fall evening.
Go to an outdoor movie
Guys I’ve been meaning to do this since I first mentioned it this spring, but still haven’t made it out there yet. With cooler temps on the horizon, I think it’s finally time I go!
Visit a Farmer’s Market I have been to the Dallas Farmers Market a lot (read about it here!), but I want to try a new one. I know Grapevine has one on Main Street, and I think it would be fun to try it out this fall. Fresh produce, here I come!
Go camping I have organized a camping trip with a group of our friends in October and I am so excited. I haven’t been camping in so long, and I’m praying the weather will be perfect!
Fall Photoshoot As I mentioned in this post, I am taking an online photography class right now. I want to practice my photography by taking pictures this fall of some of my friends. Luckily they said they’d love to, and I’ll share the final pictures with y’all!
Complete a fitness challenge I recently did my Fit for Fall Challenge, and it was so much fun! It got me back in the groove of working out regularly and back to clean eating. Tone it Up has a 31 Day Challenge that started on October 1st, and I plan on completing it this month!
Try something new This could be a new food, piece of clothing, place to visit, or even a new movie! I just want to challenge myself to be intentional about stepping out of my comfort zone and giving something new a try.
Love this little list you’ve made! On my bucket list is to go to two fall festivals, pick pumpkins, have a movie marathon for a night in, bake the best pumpkin recipes, etc.
That’s a pretty neat bucket list of things to do in fall. For those of us who don’t live in places where there are distinct seasons, it’s great to go somewhere where the leaves are golden.
Yay, Dallas! I moved here last year and loved the State Fair. Can’t wait to go back. I think I’m going to try making a hard cider myself. Maybe around Thankdgiving.
I am loving your list! We have some of the same things we want to do. I cant wait to see a drive in movie, in the back of the boyfriend’s truck. I love fall, it’s my favorite season.
I love your list. Looks great! I’m going to the Texas State Fair tomorrow!. I am so excited. I hope you’re able to cross off all of the things on your list.
I really want to go to a pumpkin patch this year! I used to go every year when I lived in the country, but now that I’m in downtown Toronto it takes a little more planning to get out of the city
What a happy, fun list :) I love fall. Really, just everything about it from fall and spiced things to pumpkins and haunted houses. I’m not entirely behind the whole early sundown stuff, but I’ll get there (first few days are always the hardest, right??)
Apple cider is one of my favorite things about fall, but I’ve never even considered making it at home! Now that we live in the tropics and can’t get real apple cider, I sometimes make a hot spiced apple juice in the crockpot–it helps satisfy the craving!

Your fall bucket list looks great! I really want to get to a pumpkin patch sometime this year, but my weekends are filling up quickly. :)
I love this list! I really think it’s a great idea to have some goals (both fun and challenging) for your family each season. :)
