HEY THERE!
Goodness. This month has completely passed me by. I am SO late finally sitting down to write this, because we simply have not stopped going going going for the past 5 weeks. But even though I’m writing this 4 days before she turns 10 months old, I did take the pictures the day she turned 9 months old, so I’m calling that a win in my book. ;)
My sweet Ellie Sue is getting cuter and cuter every day. She’s curious, happy and LOVES her big siblings. I love getting to know her better as she gets older, and this stage is seriously so much fun. It’s busy, I’m constantly picking things up off the floor (anything and everything goes in her mouth) and I couldn’t wish for a better baby girl.
This month consisted of lots of adventures, beautiful spring weather, and quite a few photoshoots with the kiddos. One of my favorite photoshoots was at a local indoor studio. There’s the cuuuutest flower wall and I am in LOVE with these sweet pics of Ellie and Junie.
Many days were spent outside as we enjoyed the transition from winter to spring. This year has been amazing, and Texas actually got a spring, which was much appreciated. The kids and I soaked it in with picnics, playing at playgrounds, going on walks and opening all the windows in the house.
The bluebonnets were in full force this month, so naturally we took our annual bluebonnet pics. I just love this time of the year!
We celebrated our first Easter as a family of five by going to church, then the rest of the day at home working in the garden and just enjoying time as a family.
I did the summer launch photoshoot for The Threaded Bee with the kiddos this month, and I love how cute they turned out! The bond these three have with each other is absolutely precious.
Ellie is still army crawling everywhere, and I have been working on some PT excercises, but no change so far. Hopefully she learns how to crawl on her hands and knees soon! She LOVES to pull to standing, and is doing it more and more. We actually lowered her crib this month, because I knew it was just a matter of time before she flung herself over the rail haha!
We’re still giving her just one meal a day, and boy does she love it. I don’t think we’ll have any trouble with her food-wise for a while! If it’s there, she’s eating it.
This month Ellie got her eyes probed to help with her clogged tear ducts. It was successful in one eye, but not the other so we had to get it probed again. Sadly if they are still causing her trouble, we will have to have a stint surgically placed. I’m hoping they are able to heal on their own so we can avoid that!
The rest of the month was spent hanging out at the house, going on playdates, driving all around the NTX area to see family and friends, taking naps, drinking alllll the milkies, going to photoshoots with mama, and playing with her siblings. What a fun month getting to know our sweet Ellie Sue!
