HEY THERE!
And just like that my baby girl is growing up! Ellie has changed so much this month. She’s so smiley and chatty, rolls over constantly and loves playing with her toys. Any time James is in the room, she smiles and coos at him nonstop, which melts me into a puddle every time. Both of the big kids love her so much, and spend most of the day either asking about Ellie or fawning over her when she’s awake.
Ellie has been such a joy and perfect addition to our family. I absolutely love her to pieces, and am so thankful the Lord blessed us with her. I had no idea how much our family needed our little Ellie Sue.
We went to a couple more pumpkin patches this month (surprise surprise), and I love all the fun memories that were made. We went to one as a family, where we left with a “big pumpkin” (according to James), lots of pictures, and full hearts. I love my sweet family so much!
We also went to the Dallas Arboretum with our dear friends who were visiting from Oregon. The weather was absolutely perfect, and we had the best time catching up and watching the kids play together. It’s just not fall without our annual pumpkin picture with the Samuels!
The month of October ended with our last pumpkin patch visit! We went on a hay ride, played on a bounce house, Ellie took a good nap, and we sweated it out in that hot Texas sun.
Another fun memory made with the Samuels was our annual PJ picture! I love watching these kiddos grow up together, even though we live across the country from each other. I thank the Lord that this friendship is able to stand the test of time and distance!
The kiddos were my little models again for The Threaded Bee, and I love these cute Christmas pics of them! They are the sweetest babies.
This month held lots of playdates, and I am so thankful for the ability to spend time with the kids and hang out with dear friends as well. One of my favorites was a rainy day spent playing, eating pumpkin banana bread and painting pumpkins!
In case you were wondering, Ellie was made for fall. She loves her some squishy sweaters!
We don’t do Halloween, but I did dress the kids up for our church’s fall festival. And by dress up, I mean I bought froggy hats for the big kids and dug through their closets for some cozy clothes to wear. Ellie (we decided) was a squishy caterpillar with dreams of being a butterfly.
Since this is busy season, most of my time is spent editing photos. Sweet Ellie is the best assistant, and has been a trouper as I’ve tried getting work done. She’s the best!
This coming month will hold Ellie’s first Thanksgiving! I can’t wait to make more memories with my squishy little one.
