HEY THERE!
Well… With the craziness of the holidays, traveling and just trying to soak in every minute with family, I completely forgot about Ellie’s Month Five update! Better late than never, right?
This was definitely my favorite month so far with our little Eleanor. She is so full of life, happiness and smiles. She is doted on by everyone (I’ll be taking applications for the *Ellie Sue Fan Club* soon), and goodness I just can’t imagine our family without her. I squeeze her aaaall day long (as seen in many pictures we take together). She’s just the best!
This month Ellie began really moving around. She finally figured out how to combine her rolls to get to places, and is officially a baby-sized roly poly. Ellie also found her toes, and loves grabbing them, sucking on her toes, and just being absolutely adorable.
I began working out again, and have done lots of at-home workouts! The kids have fun joining in with me, and many days end with all three children climbing all over me.
Ellie’s four month sleep regression hit hard. We had quite the challenging month sleep-wise, but thankfully she was able to work through it and is sleeping soooo much better now! She’s also now a belly sleeper, and sucks her thumb to sleep. I hate how cute it is!
This month brought Ellie’s first Thanksgiving, which kick started weeks of Christmas and holiday fun! Thanksgiving weekend we did our 10th Annual Campbell Family Turkey Trot, went to Johnson City with my side of the family and made so many fun memories!
One of my favorite things we did over Thanksgiving was visit my grandma. It brought me back to when my siblings and I used to go over to my grandparents’ house every Thursday night and I would chat with them, watch SYTYCD and all my favorite crime shows!
Christmastime means loooots of Christmas tree decorating. I love it so much!
We went on a family adventure to Grapevine Main Street (*the Christmas captial of Texas) and had a blast. The kids loved all the decorations, and looking for the trains at the station.
We got to take pictures with both sides of the family this month, which was so special! It’s crazy how big both sides of the family are getting. And I know it will only continue to grow from here!
We ended the month with a playdate with some dear friends of mine. When we were all first time moms four years ago, we used to get together almost every week. Since then, we’ve gone from 4 to 9 kiddos and I loved watching them all play together. What a sweet morning!
Time is just flying by so fast, and I’m doing my best to soak up this time with Ellie. Babies don’t keep, but thank goodness pictures do! I just wish I could do those scrumptious cheeks justice, because they really are sooooo squishyyy!
I can’t believe next month she’s HALF A YEAR OLD. Not okayyy.
I love you Ellie Sue!
