HEY THERE!
How in the world did my squishy baby turn TWO?! Ever since Frances was born, Ellie has grown up way too fast. All of the sudden she’s talking up a storm, copying eve-ry-thing her big siblings do, trying to do everything by herself, and acting like a big girl. She’s the sweetest little kid, and I adore her goofy, loving personality.
If you know Ellie, you know that she gives the best hugs, loves her loveys and always asks to have a book read to her. It has been fun watching her grow into a cute little girl with her own interests and unique personality. She keeps us laughing with all her crazy antics, and I hope her love for life never goes away.
Lately she’s been obsessed with baby dolls (I’m blaming Fran for that one), and always has one nearby. She nurses them, burps them, pushes them in the stroller, puts them down for naps and (her favorite) dresses them up. She likes to layer clothes on top of clothes, like the doll I undressed yesterday that had on 3 shirts, a dress, pants and undies. Classic Ellie.
Some of my favorite Ellie-isms:
“wawa” (water)
“no, ME EWIE SUEEE” (if we call her something like cutie pie or stinky feet)
“Where dada went?” (she asks this every weekday morning)
“Ewie help!!!!”
“Ewie turn”
“Ewie’s side” (referring to us looking out of HER car window, not June’s or James’s)
“Bath? Bubbles? BUBBLE BATH?!”
“WHYYYYY, mama, whyy” (classic two year old)
When every sentence either started, ended (or both) with “mama”
We love our little sunshine baby oh so much, and I can’t wait to see what this year holds! We love you, Ellie Sue!
