HEY THERE!
Can you believe Christmas is only 10 days away? I swear time is flying by SO fast and I can barely keep up. But let’s be real… I am SO excited Christmas break is almost here. I can’t wait to see my family again, watch everyone open their gifts (my favorite part), eat lots of yummy foods, and have some time off from work. This Christmas is a little different for us this year, because my family is going to be up in Omaha instead of here in Texas. This month Dad’s been up there receiving treatment for his lymphoma, and mom’s been there with him. It’s hard knowing they are SO far away, but I am forever thankful that we have this opportunity to try to get him into remission. We’re not out of the woods yet, but Lord willing, this is the treatment that works!
This is actually the first Christmas I won’t spend with my family, and for a creature of habit like me, I’m really sad about it. But I keep reminding myself… I’d rather miss this one Christmas with them than have every Christmas without Dad. Thankfully, though, the day after Christmas Isaac and I are flying up to be with my entire family (brothers, sisters, grandparents and parents!!) for a few days to celebrate Christmas a little late. We have lots of fun planned, and I am SO looking forward to seeing the whole group of us back together again. : )
I’ve already sent most of my presents up to Omaha with my parents (all wrapped, of course!), but as good as I was about buying most of my presents as early as possible, there are still some last-minute gifts I need to get. Which is where today’s post comes in. ;) I’ve rounded up some of my favorite online shops, boutiques and stores for you to shop at, as well as some local favorites to make that last-minute Christmas shopping a breeze. #yourewelcome
If you have any stores you love to shop at, let me know! I love checking out new places!
ALL Creations
My pastor’s wife, Amy, runs this shop and I love every singe thing she makes! Her hand cut aplique shirts are so cute, and I’m digging her leather earrings that are oh-so-cute. She’s my go-to lady for custom shirts, and has made me some awesome seasonal shirts that I love wearing!
Simple Beauty Headbands
I’m a HUGE fan of headbands, and these have quickly become my favorites for every-day wear. The styles are so cute, and I love the different patterns and designs you can get. I swear I would buy one of every kind if I could!
Tumbleweed TexStyles
I don’t know about you, but I’m all about cute and comfy t-shirts. When I first discovered Tumbleweed TexStyles, I didn’t realize how much I’d fall in love with their products, but y’all… it’s now a bit of a problem. ;) If you want a fun Texas themed shirt, I HIGHLY recommend them!
Bip and Bop
When it comes to personalized jewelry, I cannot recommend Bip and Bop enough! When I got married I bought an initial necklace with an “H” in the middle and our wedding date underneath, and it rarely leaves my neck. Personalized jewelry makes great gifts, and they’re a fun way to commemorate a special date!
Susalana Boutique
LuLaRoe has quickly taken over my closet by storm, and there’s a reason I love it so much. The quality is amazing, the styles are so cute, and the leggings are buttery soft. Need I say more?? One of my sweet friends started her LuLaRoe boutique this summer, and she is seriously the queen of styling outfits, and finding some ADORABLE pieces!
The Paisley Heart Select
This online boutique is a big thing at my school. We’ve spent many a lunch break browsing their clothes and finding some fun, unique pieces! This boutique is perfect for the fashion-minded person on your shopping list!
Let’s Gather Studios
My dear friend Brooke runs this shop and she has some of THE cutest tea towels and pillow covers for sale! I love all her cute designs, and she is the *queen* at personalizing her items to make them unique and one of a kind.
Neutral Studios
This new Etsy shop is run by a friend of a friend and oh my gosh the pillows are SO cute! I’m especially loving all the tassels, and the fun, clean stripes. So cute!
Wild Cedar Co
One of my blogger friends (Julie from A Hopeful Hood) co-owns this Etsy shop and they make some of THE coolest hand-lettered home decor pieces! The designs are all custom-made by them, and this would make an ah-ma-zing gift for a loved one. You may not be able to order in time for Christmas, but keep this shop in mind for the future!
Vintage Chic Signs
These ladies were at the Vintage Market Days here in North Texas recently and I fell IN LOVE with the awesome designs! They paint on top of canvas and burlap, and frame it with gorgeously stained wood. Best of all, they sell everything online, so you can get it year round, no matter where you live. : )
Graceful Beauty
If you’ve been reading here for a while, then you know about my LipSense side biz called Graceful Beauty! It’s your go-to place to get amazing long-lasting lipstick, high quality anti aging makeup, all kinds of skin care products and every thing in between. Read more about my shop here!
Plexus
One of my old coworkers sells Plexus and her passion for helping people feel their best and be their healthiest is so evident in everything she does! Looking for a way to kick-start the new year, or know a loved one who is interested? Check her out!
Becca Sue Photography
I started my photography business last year and it’s taken off by storm! Giving the gift of pictures is something families LOVE and will cherish forever. Check out my website and send me an email if you are interested. Gift certificates are available! : )
Swanky Chic Boutique
This boutique is run by two awesome ladies, Courtney and Danielle, and they are so good at what they do! I love all the cute styles they carry, and they recently opened up a second storefront in downtown Grapevine! Visit them there or at their original place in Keller for some super cute clothes at an affordable price.
Good Things for All Seasons
This is a storefront on Main Street in Grapevine, and is one of those places that has a little bit of everything. You’re sure to find something for many people on your list if you go here! : ) Best of all, they go ALL out on their Christmas decorations, so it’s fun to check them out in the evening when their lights are on full display.
Bright Books
Another friend of a friend started this organization that makes some of the cutest journals ever. What I love best about them is that for every journal sold they provide a solar light to children in needy countries so they can read or do schoolwork at home without electricity. How cool is that?!
