HEY THERE!
Last week I finally renewed my Costco membership (yay!) and stocked up on lots of yummy foods to help me through the next few weeks of Whole30. I asked on my Instagram Stories if y’all would like to see what I bought, and so many of you said “YES” that I decided to do it. :)
I made sure to check (and triple check) the ingredients lists, and may have stopped in the middle of many an aisle to Google “is ______ Whole30 compliant?” #noshame One sweet samples lady tried to sell me the pasta sauce she was serving, but I told her I couldn’t have it because there was added sugar. She responded with “I won’t tell anyone”. That’s true commitment right there.
I may have spent a lot of money on this Costco trip (shocker, right?) but knowing I was stocking up on LOTS of meat and other awesome items that I can eat, it was totally worth it. Especially because my weekly grocery bill will be so much cheaper, since all I will need to get are produce items for recipes. Ultimately I’m saving money, and I try to keep that in mind when I do my weekly grocery trips.
One more thing to keep in mind is that sometimes it’s fun to make big, extravagant meals that require a lot of ingredients, but most of the time you don’t need that. I try to keep my meals as simple as possible, which not only helps my grocery bill, but also helps me not stress when it comes to cooking dinner, or lunch, or breakfast. Meal prepping and making extra for later are my two favorite ways to keep things Whole30 compliant and easy peasy for me! And by buying a lot of staple items at Costco, meals become that much easier.
So without further ado, here’s my Whole30 Costco Grocery Haul.
How can I say no to a jumbo bag of compliant veggies? This blend has broccoli, mushrooms, carrots, green beans, sugar snap peas, water chestunts, red bell peppers and onion. And I know it will be perfect for those nights when I don’t feel like cooking and just want to throw a quick stir fry together with these vegetables, some chicken, cauliflower rice and coconut aminos. Yum!

Speaking of cauliflower rice… Check out this awesome find! It comes with FOUR 1-pound bags of riced cauliflower. Helloooo convenience! While I’m not the hugest cauliflower fan, I do eat more of it when doing Whole30 because it adds some texture and flavor to recipes, and is a great sub for rice when making dinners like stir-fry and tacos. Best of all, since they are already riced, it’s SO easy to mash them for low carb “potatoes”, and it’s quick to heat up for an easy addition to your meal.

I loooove me some guac when I do Whole30! It’s perfect for adding flavor to eggs and frittatas, and I like that it’s a healthier fat that will help keep me fuller longer. However, I hate making it. I rarely find that “sweet spot” for avocados, and then once the guac is made you have to eat it ASAP before it goes bad. So that’s why these individual containers are PERFECT for me! It’s just the right amount of guacamole, only 80 calories per container, and it’s super yummy. I highly recommend!

It’s no surprise to anyone that eggs are a HUGE staple when you’re doing the Whole30. They are perfect for a protein packed breakfast, and I personally love adding one on top of my burgers for a little extra summin’ summin’. So instead of buying eggs every week, I decided to just bite the bullet and get this case of 5 dozen eggs. It was so much cheaper, and I don’t have to worry about running out of eggs halfway through the week!

I personally prefer leaner beef because I hate the greasy feeling I get when it’s fattier. So when I saw Costco had 88/12, I was so excited! Plus it is SO much beef for a great price! I ended up separating the 6.5 pounds into five quart sized bags and put what I wasn’t using for the week in the freezer. Now I have plenty of beef for a fraction of the cost if I were to buy it at my local grocery store.
Find it in the meat section.
Speaking of lean meats, I’m a huge fan of ground turkey. It cooks just like ground beef (just make sure you cook it all the way through to kill any bacteria) and I love using it in a bunch of recipes. This comes in a pack of four (about 1.5 pounds each) with perforated edges, making it super easy to separate and freeze for later.

I love me some chicken, and these pouches are SO convenient. They have 2-3 breasts per package, and just like the turkey, can be torn apart to freeze. I love having plenty of chicken on hand because I use it in so many different recipes!

It can be difficult to find a Whole30 compliant marinara sauce because many of them have added sugar. This is when you really need to start reading labels to make sure your sauce will be okay. I love the flavor of this marinara, and the jars are HUGE. It’s a winner in my book.
Find it in the pasta aisle.
I don’t know about you, but I absolutely love having an easy alternative for nights when “I just can’t”. And so you better believe I was thrilled when I found out these meatballs were Whole30 compliant! My favorite way to prepare them is to heat them with marinara sauce, then spiralize some zucchini or squash straight into the skillet. Once everything is nice and warm, you are ready to serve. So easy and soooo yummy. This package has two one-pound pouches.

If you’ve been reading here for a while, you probably know aaaall about my love for Aidells sausage. I use it in my recipes quite often, and I was so happy to find out that the chicken & apple sausage was compliant! This package has three packs with 5 sausages in each. It’s an awesome deal for how much you get!

You may have heard about MCT oil recently as it’s gained popularity. Just so you know, it’s a medium chain triglyceride usually extracted from coconut oil. Even though Whole30 isn’t a high fat diet like Keto, I still try to make sure I’m getting the fats that I need to help me stay full, which is where MCT oil comes in. It’s perfect for adding to smoothies, bulletproof coffee (which I want to try making soon!), salad dressings and more.
Find it in the dry goods section.
I love me some peanut butter, but since peanuts are a legume which is a no-no on Whole30, I turn to other nut butters instead. Usually I stick to just plain almond butter, but when I saw this at Costco, I HAD to try it. I love how different it is because of all the different nuts in it, and it’s actually crunchy instead of smooth so it adds some great texture. It goes great with apples, on top of sweet potatoes and even mixed in smoothies!
There are so many other great Whole30 compliant foods at Costco that I didn’t even mention here. I hope to keep adding to this list in the future, so make sure to stop back by to see what else is out there. :)
And if you know of a great Whole30 compliant food there, tell me about it in the comments! I’d love to give it a try.
