HEY THERE!
If you’re anything like me, then you’ll go through times where all you want is a hot, gooey, delicious piece of pizza. However, the pizzas you buy from restaurants (and yes, even most frozen ones) are SO full of calories, fat and carbs! So to curb my pizza craving and still be completely satisfied, I came up with this quick and yummy recipe.
The crust is pre-made, which is a huge time saver! I think buying pre-made crusts are really not that bad, as long as you make your crust-buying decisions wisesly. I really liked this one (made by Mama Mary’s) because it came in a personal size, was nice and crunchy and keeps very well in the freezer! As an added bonus, it was just a couple of dollars for three pizza crusts- a time AND budget saver!
Ingredients
1 Mama Mary’s original personal size crust (pre made)
1 Tbsp pizza sauce or 1 tsp olive oil
1/2 roma tomato, sliced
2 Tbsp fat free mozzarella cheese
2 Tbsp fat free cheddar cheese
1/2 diced garlic clove
oregano, basil, salt and pepper to taste
Pre-heat oven to 350.
Spread out the pizza sauce or olive oil onto the pizza crust, and then add the cheese, tomatoes, garlic and spices evenly around the pizza.Bake in the oven according to the package instructions (my oven was set at 375) or until the crust is a golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly (around 7-10 minutes).
Remove your scrumptious pizza from the oven, let it cool then DIG IN.
(And try not to get cheese on your shirt. That may or may not have happened to me…)
