Peaches and Prayers

As one of my 2014 goals, I decided to take another shot at starting up a blog- one I plan on keeping for a long time. I view this as not only a way to share new recipes, tutorials (yes, that’s right!!) and thoughts, but also a way to give y’all a little tidbit of what God is doing in my life. I also hope to share what God teaches me as I continue on the path He has planned for me!

To start with, many may be asking why call it “Peaches and Prayers”? Well in the first place, peaches are hands down my favorite fruit! I LOVE eating fruits and vegetables and many of my recipes will include them… so get ready to see a lot of peaches, strawberries, squash and zucchini on this blog! I think I could eat more than two peaches a day if my budget allowed (and if it wouldn’t end up making me sick!). As for the prayers part of the name, my relationship with God is the most important thing to me, and recently I have realized how important it is to spend time not just reading my Bible or going to church, but also in prayer with my Creator. I hope to share what He is doing in my life along with the things He teaches me in the coming weeks, months and years.

Coming soon are some of my favorite recipes and maybe a tutorial or two! I hope everyone has had a wonderful holiday season and is ready to get back to the grind again… Unfortunately I am not. Good thing I have another week left till school starts!
