I Love You | Tricia Marie Photography

“I love you.”
Those are three of the most simple yet most meaningful words you can use. When I was younger I didn’t really understand just what they meant. I mean, I loved my parents. I loved my siblings. I loved my friends. And I loved chocolate. But I didn’t know how much love I could have for someone until I fell in love with Isaac.  These past ten months of marriage have been incredible. I have learned so much about what it means to love someone unconditionally, and how our lives can be used for the glory of God. Here’s to hundreds more!

As a late birthday present/early anniversary gift, Isaac and I had a photo shoot to celebrate our marriage. I was SO excited to finally get to work with Tricia Marie Photography, and could not have asked for anyone better. I met Tricia years ago in college, and always admired her pictures and ability to capture so much with just a camera and lens. When she started her photography business, I was so excited and couldn’t wait for her a chance to hire her. It was definitely worth the wait!

Tricia is a photographer based in Denton who loves the Lord. Her goal is to use the gifts God has given her to capture the little  and big moments in life that He uses to show how powerful, awesome and perfect He is. I loved that about her, and it was refreshing to talk about what He’s doing in our lives on our way back to the car after the shoot. Finding someone who is so on fire for the Lord and who’s not afraid to share His Gospel is what I loved the most about Tricia.

Before the Shoot

Tricia was so helpful before we even met up for the photo shoot! I emailed her a few months ago asking about prices and some other questions I had, and she was quick to respond and answered every question I had. She gave me ideas for my outfit (especially since the weather was so crazy and we didn’t know what to expect the day of the shoot), and made the entire process easy and painless.

During the Shoot

Tricia was just as friendly and bubbly as I remembered from years past. She made us feel right at ease, and we had such a good time! I felt relaxed, and I could tell all she wanted was for us to feel comfortable and normal while taking our pictures. Tricia made sure we looked awesome in every picture, and was able to pose us in ways that felt good and not awkward at all.
She was also FANTASTIC with Lillie. Like seriously, she deserves five gold stars for putting up with our crazy pup. Lillie was the star of the night, literally hopping like a bunny through the tall grass and trying to get in every shot. She was hilarious, and I am so grateful to Tricia for being so patient with her.
After the shoot, Isaac told me that was the most comfortable he’s ever felt around a photographer (which says a lot, because he’s not a fan of pictures), and I had to agree with him.

After the Shoot

The next day she posted a preview of two of our pictures on Facebook and Instagram. It only made me even more excited for the rest of them! And y’all… I have never been so impressed with a photographer before! She had the pictures edited and uploaded to Pass in 6 days. SIX DAYS. That’s the fastest I’ve ever received pictures back, and I honestly couldn’t pick a favorite out of all of them. They were amazing.
Before meeting up, she had asked me what my vision for the photo shoot was, and I told her I wanted a springy look, with a field of wildflowers and bright, crisp light. Tricia couldn’t have found a more perfect location for us- she nailed it guys! The look and feel of the pictures were exactly what I was wanting, and I can’t stop looking at them. I mean, the pictures speak for themselves… She did great.

If you live in the DFW/Denton area, I HIGHLY recommend Tricia! She was so great to work with, and I loved her work ethic. She made us feel like models, and I left happy, knowing our pictures were in good hands.
